SIZIT Documentation
Complete guide to get the most out of SIZIT's size recommendation system.
Quick Start Guide
Step 1: Install the App
Install SIZIT from the Shopify App Store or enter your store domain on our landing page. Grant the necessary permissions when prompted.
Step 2: Sync Your Products
After installation, SIZIT will automatically sync your Shopify products. This may take a few moments depending on your catalog size.
Step 3: Configure Size Measurements
Go to Products → Configure and enter the inner shoe measurements (length and optional width) for each size. Important: Enter the actual interior measurements without adding margin—our AI already includes proper allowance.
Step 4: Enable Theme Integration
In your Shopify admin: (1) Go to Online Store → Themes, (2) Click Customize, (3) Enable 'SIZIT – Global embed' in App Embeds, (4) Add the 'SIZIT - Size Button' block to your product page.
Step 5: Test & Monitor
Visit your store and test the size recommendation widget. Monitor performance through the Analytics Dashboard to optimize conversion rates.
Key Features
Smart Size Recommendations
AI-powered foot measurement analysis provides accurate size suggestions based on actual interior shoe dimensions.
Bulk Configuration
Copy size configurations across multiple products at once—perfect for brands with consistent sizing.
Analytics Dashboard
Track widget usage, conversion rates, and product performance to make data-driven decisions.
Theme Compatible
Works with any modern Shopify theme through app embeds—no code modifications required.
Integrations & data sharing
SIZIT keeps secure, purpose-limited connections with the following services:
Shopify Admin & Storefront
Used to read product catalogs, receive order webhooks, and deliver the theme extension through Shopify's official APIs.
SIZIT API (EU-hosted)
Receives synchronized catalog data, size configurations, and storefront interaction events to build size recommendations.
SIZIT Analytics Dashboard
Displays aggregated usage metrics back to the merchant via a secure dashboard; no shopper payment data is exposed.
What data is transferred
All transfers happen over HTTPS with TLS 1.2+ and are scoped to the installing merchant:
- Product metadata from Shopify (title, handle, options, variant IDs, images) to keep the size catalog in sync.
- Size configuration records entered in the app (measurements, linked variants, activation status).
- Identifiers for paid orders and widget usage events to attribute conversions—no card or payment instrument data is stored.
- Anonymous session identifiers only; we do not transmit customer names, emails, addresses, or payment credentials.
Connector compliance
SIZIT maintains a signed Recipient Acceptance Form and, for international data flows, an executed international connector annex. Request copies at legal@sizit.ai.
Merchants can review, export, or terminate sharing by contacting legal@sizit.ai or uninstalling the app, which revokes tokens immediately.
Product Configuration
How to properly configure your products:
- Each product must have a 'Size' option in Shopify with size values (e.g., 38, 39, 40, 41)
- Measurements should represent the interior usable space of the shoe
- Length (required): Measure from heel to toe inside the shoe in centimeters
- Width (optional): Measure the widest interior part of the shoe in centimeters
- Do not add margin—our algorithm automatically includes appropriate allowance
Troubleshooting
Button not showing on storefront
Check that: (1) Global embed is enabled, (2) Block is added to product template, (3) Product has size configuration, (4) Product has a Size option in Shopify.
Cannot configure product
Ensure the product has a variant option named 'Size', 'Talla', or 'EU' in your Shopify product settings.
Recommendations seem inaccurate
Verify that you've entered interior measurements correctly without adding extra margin. Review the measurement guide in the configuration form.
